Hello again!
Just in case you haven't heard it in a while, you're awesome! And thank you again for supporting Mandrill, P.I. Issue #1. Carlos is hard at work on Issue #2, and I can't wait to share some of his pages with you.

That's right! The books arrived from the printer. And they look great.
And now, the frustrating news. The printer didn't send the other items. Thus, the bookmarks and the mini-prints have not yet arrived (I ordered the stickers from a separate vendor, so they are already here). I've followed up with the printer, and the other items are being shipped out today. As soon as they arrive, I'll begin fulfilling physical orders.
That being said, it's time to send the digital rewards. I've been waiting until the surveys were completed to ensure names on the "Thank You" page are accurate. So, here's one final call to head to the survey page and complete your survey (one of the questions is name you want on the page). I'm going to send out the digital rewards Thursday, so that will give you one last chance to finish up. We've got 88% of them in already, so just a few more to go. 1) Young Rufus Adventures by Darren Close
If you're a fan of Killeroo (and if you're not, what's wrong? You should be!), then this is the comic anthology for you. It's a book of YA tales featuring our favorite kangaroo action hero as a kid.

If you're a fan of space westerns, this comic is great! There's tiers to catch up on the story thus far. It's a high energy tale that follows Montana Bones and his companions on the run from gangsters and an organization called The Harmony Alliance.

Please, please fill out the survey ASAP. I need this info to finalize rewards and get them out to you.
Remember, there’s no need to create a BackerKit account to fill out your survey. Just click the link to fill out the survey when you receive the email. Answer the questions about your rewards, provide shipping information (if you chose physical items), and purchase add-on items if there are any that you fancy.
After you complete the survey, you can return at any time to change your answers until July 15, when I lock the survey.

Good news, everyone!
BackerKit has approved the fulfillment survey!
Just a heads up that the first thing BackerKit requires is something called a Smoke Test, which is where a random 5% of backers across all pledge levels get the survey link. This is to ensure that it works properly.
Thus, some of you will receive the email with a special link to your BackerKit survey immediately, while the rest of you will get yours about a day later. Please check your spam/junk boxes if you don't see the email in your Inbox in the next couple days. It’s important to respond to your survey as quickly as possible since I need this information to fulfill your rewards.
Also, there’s no need to create a BackerKit account to fill out your survey. Just click the link to fill out the survey when you receive the email. Answer the questions about your rewards, provide shipping information (if you chose physical items), and purchase add-on items if there are any that you fancy.
Please fill out the survey as soon as you see it come through. This way I can begin fulfilling digital orders immediately and physical orders as soon as the books arrive from the printers.

Hello again!
I wanted to give an update on where we're sitting with MANDRILL, P.I. ISSUE #1.
The stickers have already arrived, and they look great! The books, bookmarks, and prints are all currently being printed, and they should arrive on my doorstep within the next month. I'll be packing them up and shipping them out ASAP when they arrive.
Meanwhile, I've gotten word from Kickstarter that the funds have cleared and are on the way. Excited to be able to pay off the credit card charge from the printer! :)
I intended to get the BackerKit surveys out today, but the platform is proving a little less intuitive to get finalized than I originally thought. My goal is to get the issues worked out by this weekend to get the surveys out to you. Amongst other things, the survey will provide me the info I need to finalize the "Thank You" page at the end of the digital edition, and then I'll be able to send out digital rewards!
Thank you again for your support! I'll keep you posted along the way.
