As I write this:

• We've unlocked Stretch Goal #1, and we're less than $350 from the physical issue doubling in size with a ton of backup goodies
• We're only 7 backers from the first "Total Backers" Stretch Goal!

I've also been asked to make my books and novellas available as add-ons, so I wanted to ensure those are easily accessible for all who want them!

But then Travis discovers a troll under a bridge, and this troll helps Travis learn a valuable lesson: sometimes to find true happiness, you need to feed those who are mean to you to your new best friend.

Epic steam-fantasy graphic novel series. One of the characters looks like an abomination, but it's because his blood carries within it the mystical and nearly extinct race known as the Ancients. He connects with a group of adventurers to track down artifacts connected to the Ancients.

Looks awesome! Can't wait!

Super cool story set in New Zealand!

Stretch Goal #1 Unlocked!

It's day 4, and already we've unlocked Stretch Goal #1! THANK YOU AGAIN FOR THE SUPPORT!!!!

• This means that everyone backing at a physical level (the tiers beginning at $15+) will be receiving a MANDRILL, P.I. bookmark in addition to their reward! It's not too late to upgrade your pledge if you want to get your hands on one!

It also means that it's time to announce the next stretch goal!

• This next goal is nearly double the original funding goal, so let's double the size of the physical issue!!
• We're less than $500 away, and closing in fast!

We're almost at the first total backer number stretch goal (about 15 away!), so please keep sharing on social media. The bigger this project gets, the cooler the rewards we can afford to provide!

This ongoing series focuses on three agents from a small, internationally funded organization called Infinite Borders Security Agency (IBSA), a secret group of operatives who investigate alien encounters on Earth or in space (their jurisdiction has no boundaries).

It's a super cool comic with themes similar to my prose series, The Multiverse Askew, so if you enjoy my work, I think you are going to love this! I've backed it, and can't wait to get my hands on it!

The story of Hercules and his 12 Labors is one most casual fans of mythology are familiar with. What is less familiar to most is the story of his greatest labor. More Cool Stuff Incoming!

So, it's day 3, and my third day of saying THANK YOU SO MUCH! That never gets old. So, I'll do it again. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!

There's some more cool stuff incoming:

• The resounding answer to yesterday's poll was more mini-prints by guest artists. Expect an      announcement soon--these are being arranged as we speak.
• I've got some other cool add-ons I'll be posting in the next couple days

We're getting close to reaching the first stretch goals!

• We're less than $80 from the free bookmark added to every pledge at a physical level!
• We're about 20 backers from the Backers Credit Page

I've got tons of other stretch goals planned once we surpass these, so keep the social media shares going and please help spread the word about the campaign. The bigger it gets, the better the rewards become!

1) DUST BUNNY MAFIA by Bret Juliano

The Dust Bunny Mafia is like Looney Tunes meets The Godfather. In the city of Fairview, there are five mobster families (dust bunnies, rats, crows, insects, and fish) each looking to forge alliances and eliminate their competitors to control the underworld while simultaneously battling the cops.

Bret is putting out consistently cool work, and this is no exception. His Kickstarter has a ton of cool add-ons as rewards, too, including collectible poker chips and T-shirts with designs that are awesome parodies of prohibition-era businesses. Awesome stuff!

2) SUNDOWN: THE BOOKS OF JERICHO #5 by J.D. Oliva

J.D. is writing really cool urban fantasy books, including this series in which the titular character, Jericho, has battled werewolves, wendigos, and doomsday cults. Check out this latest book as he investigates the murder of an Instagram model and uncovers a coven run by a vampiric lord.

The other cool thing about backing this campaign is that traditional prose publishing projects on Kickstarter are beginning to gain momentum, and this is a chance to be part of a movement to boost prose novels on Kickstarter--success stories which I hope will lead to even more prose authors launching on Kickstarter and providing really cool, unique items to backers (just like what's happening now in the comics field).

A Question for You & Other Cool Campaigns

Hello again!

I know I've been saying this A LOT, but thank you so much for your support. Also, I'm going to keep saying it (because you're awesome!), so you may want to mute the updates if you don't like hearing it :)

Many of you who know me already know that I love Kickstarter. It's a way to help bring awesome projects to life and be involved in the process along the way. And here are some projects that I've backed recently that I think are really cool:

Turner Family Terrors by Robert Krisch

An irreverent horror/comedy/adventure with heart. TFT follows the sweet, suburban, but utterly dysfunctional Turner Family, as they discover their five-year-old daughter is the Princess of Darkness and must protect her when the forces of EVIL attempt to harness her power. AND they have to save the world from a fiery Apocalypse, too!

 BARNUM & ELWOOD by Brian VanHooker & Steve Quistgaard

We've Crossed the $2.5K Mark...Here Come the Stretch Goals!!!

Thank you again for an amazing DAY 1!

We're at 143% funded as I write this, and I'm so giddy. And now is where the extra fun stuff begins: stretch goals!

For those of you who are new to Kickstarter, these are bonuses that get unlocked the higher the total funding and backer numbers rise. I'll announce each new stretch goal as we pass the previous goals.

• These are not at extra cost to you, but are fun ways to improve deliverables and ensure the pieces that you receive when this project delivers are as cool as we can possibly afford!

So, without further ado, the first (of hopefully many!) stretch goals:

1) Backer Stretch Goal

• We're sitting at nearly 50 backers. When we get to 75, I'll be adding a page into the back of the digital edition that lists all backers as a way to say thank you for your support!
• Keep those shares going on social media--even the smallest backing moves the needle!

2) Funding Stretch Goal

• When we cross the $3K funding threshold, all backers at physical reward tiers ($15+) will receive a Mandrill, P.I. bookmark as a bonus to your reward!
